Sage, who spent the last year living outdoors, staying at a shelter, and taking care of her six adorable kittens, is now eagerly looking for her forever home where she can finally settle down.
A female tabby cat was discovered wandering aimlessly on the roads and was taken to an animal shelter in the city. She was heavily pregnant and had reportedly been wandering for a year. As the shelter was not an appropriate place for raising kittens, the staff urgently searched for a foster home. The Salty Animal Rescue organization responded to their request for help and took in the pregnant cat. According to Karly, one of the rescue’s co-founders, the cat was about five years old and had probably given birth to multiple litters. Fortunately, this was her final delivery.
Sage had experienced a year of living on the streets and spent some time at a shelter. Once she had familiarized herself with her new surroundings, she approached her caretakers for affection and cuddles. The changes in her environment were pleasing to her, and she was ecstatic to have some company. Sage felt secure right away with a cozy and quiet room to herself and an abundance of food available. She even laid down on the floor and exposed her plump belly, a clear indication of her contentment.
Sage became a proud mommy of six adorable kittens who were born healthy and strong. These newborns had an insatiable appetite and seemed to have a lot of energy for their age. Right from the beginning, Sage proved to be a great mother as she tirelessly attended to her little ones, catering to their every need and keeping them clean. Sage’s six kittens consisted of four boys and two girls and as each day passed, they were making remarkable progress while mommy Sage took care of them round-the-clock.
This lovely lady was an exceptional mother. According to Sage, she is the top-notch mom and is moving towards living a happy life in her permanent abode. It was mesmerizing to witness her kittens grow exponentially in weight, achieving new milestones every day. The adorable little creatures were undoubtedly some of the most well-fed and healthy kittens they had ever seen.
From the moment they opened their eyes, these little ones were full of energy and mischief, always keeping their mother on her toes. It wasn’t long before they discovered the joys of running and jumping, and soon enough they were racing around the room, playing as if they owned the whole place.
After Sage’s six offspring were no longer reliant on her and could manage on their own, she made the decision to step back from her maternal responsibilities and focus more on being with her human companions.
She absolutely loves being the star of the show, the only feline in the household. “Sage has definitely communicated that she prefers to have no other pets around.” She adores receiving belly rubs whenever she wants, and isn’t shy about showing off her tummy by playfully rolling over.
Sage thrives in the spotlight and loves to be the center of attention. Although she’s five years old, her playful spirit still resembles that of a kitten. She exudes boundless energy and eagerly greets anyone she encounters. When she’s not busy frolicking around, she relishes in curling up on the couch with her humans, purring contentedly until she dozes off.
Karly expressed that the mother dog was successful in raising her last litter and all of them found their forever homes. It’s now time for the mother dog to find her own forever home.
Sage is searching for a loving and indulgent family who can give her the royal treatment she deserves. It’s uncertain how she ended up homeless, but we’re confident that Sage’s new life will surpass all her dreams.
